TNHS ONLINE REPORTING

ANNOUNCEMENT:

For fast retrieval and submission of reports, we advise all classroom advisers, department heads, project coordinators, and teachers to use DROP BOX.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE SYSTEM:

Submission of reports is always the usual function of all classroom advisers, department heads, project coordinators, teachers, and to all who are required to submit reports. In making reports, we usually use computers then print the file and submit it to the Office of the Assistant Principal or directly to the Office of the School Principal. Worst scenario is when the report was accidentally misplaced and perhaps left in the office. One solution is to use dropbox, we already created our dropbox account and it ready for use.

HOW IT WORKS:

Upon installation of the dropbox software in your laptop,  net book or in your desktop, the software will create the directory of files in your hard drive, the file directory is located at drive C of your computer. To submit your file, simply save your report to the folder assigned to you in your computer and once the files had been saved in your folder the software will immediately sync a copy of your file in our cloud storage, once our cloud storage had been updated, the software will automatically distribute the copy of your file to all dropbox account holders.  That is making your file available to all computers ready for utilization. Please be noted that the submission of the report should be with internet connection, if in case your computer is not connected to the internet, you can still do the submission by saving your file to the assigned folder to the other dropbox account holder that has internet connection. Computers inside the Office of the Principal and of the Assistant Principal will automatically acquire the file you submitted as long these computers are connected to the internet too.

Requirements are:

1. You must have the internet connection.

2. Click on the link https://www.dropbox.com/downloading?src=index to download the file

3. Install the downloaded file

4.  After successful installation simply sign in on the interphase using the details provided to you, if you don't have yet the details please call 09101732616 for guidance.

5. Now that your software is running just spare a time to update the preassigned folders for all departments.

TNHS HISTORY

The Trento National High School (TNHS) is a public high school under the Department of Education of the Philippines located in Trento, Agusan del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines. It has 4 annexes, the Kapatungan National High School, Manat National High School, Salvacion National High School and Pulang-Lupa National High School located in the Municipality of Trento, Agusan del Sur.

The curricula offered by the school are Department of Science and Technology - Engineering and Science Education Program (DOST-ESEP)and Special Science Curriculum (SSC), Basic Education Curriculum (BEC) and the Technical Vocational Education (TVS/Tech. Voc.).

Forty years ago, the Barangay Council of Trento, headed by Ignacio Prochina, the Barangay Captain conceived the idea of opening a Barangay high school. A Barangay resolution requesting for the opening of high school was then passed to the division office which was yet in Butuan City. At that time, Agusan was not yet divided into Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur. When the request was granted, Trento Barangay High School was opened on July 16, 1970, and then enrollment began.

There was only one full-time teacher appointed. She was Miss Nena A Lor, Mrs. Tuazon. Then she was followed by Necitas V. Logroño, and Josefina A. Lumanta. This was in 1970–1971. The enrollees were only 204. There was one section from the first year and another section from the second year.

In the following year, came Efigenia E. Calvez, Berlin S. Mipaña, now Mrs. Tecson, Gregorio A. Rances, and Nelita D. Julao, now Mrs. Improso.

Two years later, they had their first graduation. Due to the increase of enrolment, the school needed a head teacher. Jose R. Oasan, who acted as the assistant principal, designated Nena A. Lor as the teacher-in-charge. That was in 1973. In 1975, she was promoted to head teacher.

After four years, the students and the teachers were made to vacate the building they borrowed from Trento Central Elementary School. They transferred to an unfinished building constructed out of the converted barrio market building. Such building was having unfinished roofing with its sand and gravel flooring.

They stayed there for a quite number of years. With the assistance extended by both the Barangay and local officials, the school had acquired physical facilities. It is now the second year building. In the year 1976–1977, the old municipal building was also turned-over to the school as a classroom building.

The Parents Teacher Association also has become part and parcel in the operation of the school. A number of classroom buildings were constructed by the PTA. It had also become the study partner of the administration in the realization of its mission, vision and goals. The school has continued to grow and later name as Trento Community High School, Trento Municipal High School and then Trento National High School.

At present, there are 2,556 students enrolled for the school year 2006–2007. There are 70 teachers headed by the full fledged Secondary School Principal Leopoldo M. Pulido, P-IV. In terms of buildings, Trento National High school has 20 buildings with 44 classrooms.

Today, Trento National High School stands as the 3rd biggest in population among secondary schools in the Division of Agusan del Sur. And as of now, Trento National High School is soaring up high in co-curricular and extra curricular in Science, Mathematics, Journalism, TLE, English, Filipino and even the Supreme Student Government affairs.

It has 5 special programs, the SPA,SPJ,ESEP,SPS and regular section
